Attend this volunteer introduction and slide show to find out about projects needing your support for Earth Day 2000 including: EarthFair in Balboa Park on Sunday, April 16, the VIP (Very Important Planet) Reception and EARTH Awards on April 20, and the Earth Day Work Day restoration projects on April 22. Many other projects need your help or start your own!

Directions: From I-8 East or West: exit onto I-15 North, then follow directions below (next exit comes quickly!)

From I-15 North or South: exit Friars Road, heading East. Continue on Friars Rd. After crossing the San Diego River, Friars will merge into Mission Gorge Road. Continue east on Mission Gorge for about 3 miles, then watch for sign for Mission Trails Park. Turn left onto Father Junipero Serra Trail Road.
