atural habitat for en dangered species is dis appearing rapidly. Do you want to make a difference in just one day? Join San Diego EarthWorks volunteers on February 14 and 28, for Community Restoration & Renewal Projects in Florida Canyon in Balboa Park and at the San Dieguito River Park in north county.

San Diego EarthWorks volunteers will restore and renew Florida Canyon in Balboa Park on Satruday, February 14, from 9am to 1pm. We will be clearing debris from the area, planting native species, spreading mulch, and restoring the existing nature trail.

On Saturday, February 28, from 9am to 1pm, volunteers will assist park rangers at San Dieguito River Park by re-planting the riparian area with native willows to enhance the habitat of the endangered Least Bell's vireo.
