keynote speaker will be Isis Fredericks, CQE, B.Sc., M.Sc, of
Management Alliances. Ms. Fredericks is one of the world's leading
experts on environmental management systems and their benefits.
She has developed ISO 9000, BS 7750 and ISO 14000 based management
systems internationally in the manufacturing and service industries.
Isis is a Senior member of American Society for Quality, serves
on the executive of the Canadian Environmental Auditing Association,
and is a member of IATCA's WG4 developing international EMS auditor
certification criteria. Isis will briefly address the following
topics: Environmental audit standards and guidelines: Audit fundamentals;
Environmental legislation and regulations; Environmental management
systems; Types of environmental audits; Auditor certification
schemes.
