10 Things you can do at the Harvest EarthFair:

  1. Compost: Solana Recylers' master composters will be demonstrating composting techniques and giving you tips.
  2. Dance: Enjoy the hot tunes of Hot Rod Lincoln at the KBEST stage at noon or check out the children's stage.
  3. Tour Rancho Guajome Adobe: At 11am, 12:30pm, 2pm and 3:30pm, docents will lead guided tours of the recently renovated Rancho Guajome Adobe, a state and national historic landmark.
  4. Gawk at hawks: Learn how injured wild animals are rescued, rehabilitated and released back into the wild.
  5. Buy fresh, locally-grown organic produce
  6. Get gardening advice
  7. Take a hayride
  8. Learn Tai Chi
  9. See how San Diego kids view the world: The Picture a Perfest World kids art contest and exhibition will be displayed at the Museum until October 3. Call (619) 496-6666 for more information on how to enter the exhibiton.
